Talladega College

Talladega College is a private, liberal arts, historically black college in Talladega, Alabama. It is Alabama’s oldest private historically black college and offers 17 degree programs. Talladega College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate degrees.
Talladega College was the first institution in the state of Alabama to admit qualified persons of any race or ethnic origin. The liberal arts program at Talladega serves as a strong foundation for the development of the whole person and well-rounded leaders. Founded in 1867, the college has religious affiliations with United Church of Christ and its motto is An Education of Distinction
