Internationally renowned motivational speaker Dr. Eric Thomas will deliver the keynote address at the annual Black History Month assembly at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). Scheduled for Thursday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m., the event will be held in the H.O. Clemmons arena of the Kenneth L. Johnson, Sr. HPER Complex. Sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, doors to the free, public, event will open at 10:00 a.m.
Dr. Eric Thomas is a critically acclaimed author, world-renowned speaker, educator, pastor, and audible.com Audie Awards Finalist. ET, as he is better known, has taken the world by storm, with his creative style and high-energy messages. His words continue to impact tens of millions of people in several hundred countries across the planet. Through a significant social media presence and his recent domestic and international tours, “ET, The Hip Hop Preacher” has become a global phenomenon!
As CEO of his Consulting Firm, ETA LLC., Dr. Thomas has led his team through the doors of dozens of reputable organizations and Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric, Quicken Loans, AT&T, Nike, Under Armour, New Balance, and UPS. He has also consulted for major Universities and the major sports teams within the MLB, NBA, NFL, and MLS.
Following the assembly, Dr. Thomas will be signing copies of his book, Secret to Success, in the lobby area of the Fine Arts building. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
