Beth Simonetti, executive vice president and chief human resource officer at TD SYNNEX, will speak at Claflin University from 2 p.m. – 2:40 p.m. on Thursday,Ā Oct. 19, in the Orange and Maroon Room at Corson Hall.

Simonetti has seen the company through numerous acquisitions, including the $10B Technology Solutions division of Avnet, followed by the purchase of Tech Data by Apollo Global Management and going back public with the merger of SYNNEX. With over 50 mergers and acquisitions in her portfolio, Simonetti has developed expertise working with boards and executives to integrate and align leadership teams, organizational structures, compensation, and talent management strategies. She is focused on driving strategic business goals, culture transformation, aggressive financial targets, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Diversity, Equity & Including (DE&I) objectives. Simonetti has brought her expertise to both public and private boards, working closely with the Compensation and Nominating & Governance Committees.
Simonettiās early career was leading human resources (HR) through exponential growth at Cardinal Health, as they went from $3B to $65B in revenue and 3,000 to 65,000 employees over 12 years. Just prior to her current role with TD SYNNEX, she led HR for Baker & Taylor, a $2+B, privately held distribution business.
Simonetti received her bachelorās degree from Miami University and her masterās from Ohio State University. In April 2022, Simonetti also completed the Northwestern Kellogg School of Business Executive Womenās Director program.
She has been the recipient of multiple HR recognitions including Human Resources Person of the year in Tampa Bay and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Moffitt Cancer Center Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
