Natorio Howard, Stillman College’s Director of Brand Identity, has been selected to join the Xi Cohort of the highly respected Higher Education Leadership Foundation. This honor reflects not only Howard’s exceptional leadership skills and creative vision but also signifies the impact and influence of Stillman College’s faculty and staff in higher education and beyond.
Since joining Stillman College in 2020, Howard has been instrumental in spearheading major projects that have significantly elevated our institution’s branding and identity. Under Mr. Howard’s guidance, the college has witnessed the successful launch of its first brand standards manual, an institutional rebrand, an athletics rebrand, and a comprehensive redesign of the institution’s website. These milestones have not only enhanced the college’s visibility but have also streamlined our communication strategies, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
Before joining Stillman College, Howard honed his skills at the University of Alabama, where he was recognized with over 26 creative awards, notably the highly regarded CASE® International Gold Circle of Excellence Award.
The Higher Education Leadership Foundation, recognized for its rigorous selection criteria, chooses leaders who exhibit exceptional skills in innovation, leadership, and community engagement. The foundation’s Xi Cohort is particularly focused on fostering leadership in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Foundation’s selection of Mr. Howard for its Xi Cohort is a testament to the exceptional work and dedication demonstrated in enhancing the college’s brand identity. This opportunity will allow Mr. Howard to further develop leadership skills, collaborate with fellow leaders across the HBCU landscape, contribute to vital discussions on global leadership trends, and bring back valuable insights and strategies to Stillman College.
The Leadership Institute of the H.E.L.F. Foundation, where Mr. Howard will be participating, is scheduled to take place from Dec. 7 to Dec. 10 at Wiley University in Marshall, Texas, a site known for hosting significant leadership and innovation forums.
