The Bishop State Community College Truck Driving Program will become the primary Sponsor of the Truck division at Mobile International Speedway for the 2024 Season.
The Bishop State Community College Truck Driving Program has become a home for veteran drivers and up-and-comers in racing on the Gulf Coast.
Steven Davis and Okie Mason are two of the most renowned racers on the Gulf Coast that race in the truck division. They have more than 30 championships between them while competing against young guns like Grant Thompson who has already banked a title at Mobile and Pensacola.
“Sponsoring the Truck Series is a natural for the Bishop State,” said Brad Wallace, lead instructor for Bishop State’s Truck Driving program. “Bishop State’s Truck Driving Program is a lot like the Truck Series. We offer the young and the not-so-young an opportunity. As a fan, I have been watching these guys for years and I’m really looking forward to being part of program.”
Bishop State joins Mon Louis Island Construction, Revitalize Heating and Air, and Story & Bleich Roofing as Division Title Sponsors at Mobile International Speedway for the 2024 Season.
“Having Bishop State become part of our family of marketing partners is huge for the Speedway,” offered Mobile International Speedway promoter, Eddie Shoemaker. “We have been working hard on putting a quality program together on and off the racetrack and having Bishop State come on board sends a real message we are attracting a new type of sponsor.”
