Amber Murray knows what it’s like to be on the other side of “I’ll stop for gas in the morning.”The idea for her business, Fuel Flo, came to her after she accidentally ran out of gas whiledriving. “I figure if I hate stopping for gas that much, someone else has to feel the same way Ido,” she stated.
Fuel Flo, based in St. George, South Carolina, is a mobile fueling service that provides fuel to their customers by driving to their home or work on a weekly basis. “We’re basically like a door dash or Uber for gas,” said Amber. “We come to your house or wherever you work to fill up your gas tank. You don’t have to worry about being heckled at the gas station, you don’t have to worry about being robbed, and with COVID, this is a sanitary avenue.”
Fuel Flo will provide fuel services to you directly on a weekly basis. After signing up for service,Fuel Flo customers will choose to have their vehicle filled at home or work. We willconveniently provide you with fuel at the best rate for up to 3 vehicles with a monthlysubscription or standard weekly rate. No contract is required!
Fuel Flo is currently serving drivers across North California, and Amber plans to expand her service area soon. She hopes that Fuel Flo will inspire other Black entrepreneurs, especiallywomen, to follow their dreams and start their own businesses. Amber’s story is a reminder that with hard work, creativity, and determination, you can create a business that not only helps others but also challenges the way things are done. Fuel Flo is here to change how we think about getting gas, one delivery at a time.
