Parents and family members of Tuskegee University students were on campus last weekend for the annual Parents’ Weekend 2023 – “Celebrating Tuskegee University Golden Tigers – Head, Heart, and Hand.”
The festive weekend included interactive workshops, enlightening seminars, and opportunities to connect with key individuals who play a pivotal role in their student’s journey.
Parents Weekend offers a rich array of experiences that strengthen the sense of community and belonging at Tuskegee University. It’s a chance for parents to gain valuable insights into their student’s academic and personal growth. Through engaging sessions and activities, they can connect with the Tuskegee family and witness firsthand the university’s impact on their student’s life.
“Parents’ Weekend at Tuskegee University is a cherished tradition that embodies the spirit of excellence, compassion, and growth,” said Tameka Harper, Dean of Students at Tuskegee. “It’s a time for parents to experience the vibrancy of our campus community and witness the transformative journey of their students. We strive to create a weekend of events that our parents will find enriching to celebrate while leaving them with even more memories.”
Highlights of Parents’ Weekend included:
