Jackson, Mississippi āĀ Jackson State University (JSU)Ā has won three awards in theĀ 2023 MarCom AwardsĀ from theĀ Association of Marketing and Communication ProfessionalsĀ (AMCP). JSU received the following accolades:
- People of JSU Book Volume 5Ā received the Platinum Award in theĀ Publications ā EducationalĀ category.
- JSU Day of Giving 2023Ā film received the Gold Award in theĀ Video FundraiserĀ category.
- JSU Need 2 KnowĀ received Honorable Mention in theĀ Video SeriesĀ category.

The Association received approximately 6,500 entries from countries around the world. AMCP is an international organization with thousands of professional organizational members involved in every area of media and communications. Platinum Award winners in other categories include AARP, Proctor and Gamble, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo.
