BSC Engineering Technology Industry Advisory Board Established

Seven candidates vying to become the 63rd Governor of Maryland participated in the forum: Rushern Baker, Jon Baron, Peter Franchot, Doug Gansler, Wes Moore, Tom Perez, and Jerome Segal. Julian Graduate Research Assistantship for the 2022-2023 academic year. The merit-based Just-Julian Assistantship saw a 20 percent increase in applicants from the previous year. “The awardees, selected by an interdisciplinary faculty committee on the basis of academic achievement, scholarly interests and research potential, represent the pinnacle of student scholarship across the Graduate School’s academic divisions,” says Dana A. Claflin Senior Named a 2022 Disney UNCF Corporate Scholar

By Claflin University Claflin University Senior Daa’iyah Fogle has been named a 2022 Disney UNCF Corporate Scholar. She is one of 21 students from four-year institutions across the country, including many Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Fogle, a student writer in Claflin University’s Office of Communications and Marketing, is a mass communications major from Greenville, S.C. The scholars will receive a $5,000 annual scholarship and a paid summer internship at The Walt Disney Company, which begins in May. NCAA Announces Student-Athlete Certification Process Infractions at BSC

Courtesy of Bluefield State College The NCAA Division II Committee on Infractions announced today that Bluefield State College had failed to monitor the student-athlete certification process.  This announcement follows Bluefield State College’s discovery and self-reporting of infractions to the NCAA, and BSC’s cooperation with the NCAA throughout the process.  The NCAA Committee on Infractions recognized BSC’s swift action to reorganize its compliance department and proactively secure an outside entity to conduct a compliance audit. FAMU President Robinson Participates in Second HBCU Impact Summit
