PVAMU and Texas A&M are awarding $400,000 in grants to support ten PVAMU-Texas A&M teams of faculty investigators to support research projects under the 2022 Panther Research and Innovation for Scholarly Excellence grant program. Fisk emerged 1st out of 30 colleges, winning more than $80,000. The Senate confirmed her nomination with a 53-47 vote, including all 50 Democratic senators and three Republicans.
