This National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) award to Tuskegee University will establish a multidisciplinary traineeship in sustainable nanobiomaterials. This project is a partnership between three doctoral programs to develop innovative sustainable biomaterials for biodegradable packaging systems, including biomedical and food packaging. Department of Defense (DoD) selects Tuskegee University to receive equipment/instrumentation award

By Tuskegee University, The Department of Defense (DoD), through the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering USD(R&E), has listed Tuskegee University as a recipient of the fiscal year (FY) 2021 DoD Equipment/Instrumentation award under the Research and Education Program for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority-Serving Institutions (HBCUs/MSIs). The award totaling $101,625 will support the acquisition of a Zeta potential analyzer and an Advanced Automated Goniometer/Tensiometer.
