By Lincoln University University of Missouri Extension recently recognized the Small Business Development Center at Lincoln University for its high rate of client satisfaction. Center Director Lauren Carter and her staff were honored April 13 at the Extension Business Development Program’s annual professional development conference. The annual celebration awards individual and team performance from the most recent fiscal year. The SBDC at LU was one of four centers honored statewide for top client satisfaction. Cheyney University Achieves Surplus, Eyes Bright Future

The historically Black institution that was once rumored to be on the brink of possibly shutting down amid concerns about the future of its accreditation recently announced that it ended the fiscal year with not only a balanced budget, but a surplus of $2.1 million.
