Xavier Partners with UAB for Dental Early Assurance Program

Morehouse College Launches $500M Making Men Campaign

JSU Tigers Honored at Capitol for 2021 SWAC Championship

Warren Mississippi state legislators assembled inside the Senate and House chambers and outside on the Capitol steps Tuesday to salute Jackson State University football, which earned the 2021 SWAC Championship under head Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders. The moment was May 25, 2020, several days after the brutal death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis policeman. Claflin Partners with Planet Fitness for Student Internships

by Daa’iyah Fogle Amid a global pandemic, Claflin University continues to make strides to increase educational opportunities for its students. The University recently launched a partnership with Planet Fitness to provide internships for students majoring in human performance and recreation and sports management. The partnership officially began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Justin Josey, a senior sports management major, was the first Claflin student selected for the internship. He will work with Planet Fitness during the 2022 spring semester.
