Travis Scott has offered to cover a semester of tuition for five students who are attending a historically Black college or university (HBCU).

The “Highest In The Room” emcee took to Twitter to tweet a joke about him having a stockpile of cellphones from continuously breaking them. Fans replied to the tweet asking if Scott could replace their AirPods, Playstation 5 and Astroworld clothing.

La Flame was in a giving mood as he told the fans that he would give them the items they asked for. He then tweeted that he would cover tuition expenses for a few lucky HBCU students in the country.

“AND I KNOW SCHOOL JUST STARTED AND I WANNA TAKE CARE OF 5 KIDS TUITION FOR THEIR FIRST SEMESTER OF SCHOOL!!! WHY NOT!!!!!” he tweeted. He then clarified his tweet by saying he wanted to award students who attended HBCUs. “5 KIDS THAT ATTEND A HBCU,” he tweeted. “Send me ur schools ya heard!!!”

The Houston native then revealed that his parents attended HBCUs. He said that his father went to Grambling State University in Louisiana, while his mother attended Prairie View A&M University in Texas.

Money isn’t an issue for Scott as he recently partnered with McDonalds to launch his own signature meal.

The meal, which consisted of a quarter pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, a medium fry, some BBQ sauce and a Sprite, was so popular, the fast food chain was running out of the burger patties. The meal was available for only $6 from Sept. 8 to Oct. 4.

Scott’s label also designed custom T-shirts that McDonalds’ employees can wear during their promotion. It was the first time the fast food restaurant teamed up with a celebrity since its 1992 campaign with Michael Jordan.
