By Sholnn Z. Freeman Howard University has announced a collaboration with Sanofi for 10 new post-graduate fellowships in the College of Pharmacy for students earning PharmD degrees. Upon successful completion of the program, Sanofi’s goal is to hire fellows into permanent full-time positions at the company, marking the first time an industry partner with the college has committed to post-fellowship employment. Fisk University Expands Outdoor Life and Fishing Program

Courtesy of Fisk University For a number of years, the Outdoor Life Program at Fisk University has been supported by a gift from the Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Funds. Dr. Vann R. Newkirk, Sr., President of Fisk University, initiated the partnership in 2019 with a proposal that has totaled more than $100,000 to date. UAPB Students Explore Vet Science at Purdue University

From the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Six University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) students majoring in animal science recently had the opportunity to put their analytical skills to the test during a three-day visit to Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. As part of Purdue’s Laboratory Investigative Veterinary Experience (LIVE), they participated in hands-on activities similar to those veterinary and animal science professionals undertake every day. ASU Hosts Back-to-School Giveaway for MPS Students

By Kenneth Mullinax/ASU The tenet of ‘CommUniversity’ was in action on the campus of Alabama State University on July 23 as the University’s Student Government Association (SGA) and ASU’s Royal Court joined with a local non-profit and religious organizations to provide much-needed free school supplies to area Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) students. EWU Partners with Propel for Arts & Entertainment Program
