Savannah State Wins $900K Grant to Boost Student Entrepreneurs

Written by Savannah State University, Savannah State University has been awarded a $900,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) to operate a Minority Colleges and Universities pilot project in Savannah. The University recently launched a partnership with Planet Fitness to provide internships for students majoring in human performance and recreation and sports management.
