Xavier Uses VR Tech to Boost Student Learning in Biology

Julian Graduate Research Assistantship for the 2022-2023 academic year. The merit-based Just-Julian Assistantship saw a 20 percent increase in applicants from the previous year. “The awardees, selected by an interdisciplinary faculty committee on the basis of academic achievement, scholarly interests and research potential, represent the pinnacle of student scholarship across the Graduate School’s academic divisions,” says Dana A. Claflin’s Daa’iyah Fogle Named 2022 Disney UNCF Scholar

By Claflin University Claflin University Senior Daa’iyah Fogle has been named a 2022 Disney UNCF Corporate Scholar. She is one of 21 students from four-year institutions across the country, including many Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Fogle, a student writer in Claflin University’s Office of Communications and Marketing, is a mass communications major from Greenville, S.C. The scholars will receive a $5,000 annual scholarship and a paid summer internship at The Walt Disney Company, which begins in May. Harvard Pledges $100M to Address Ties to Slavery

Nearly 80 Harvard University leaders, donors and staff members had owned enslaved people until slavery remained legal in Massachusetts in 1783, according to a report the university released Tuesday.
